  3.             SUN IN 2ND HOUSE
  4.      The Sun in the Second House indicates natives who must
  5. learn the lesson of stewardship in the correct use of material
  6. resources.  This will be in relation to the affairs ruled by
  7. the sign the Sun is in.  They must learn to use money and 
  8. property constructively, in ways beneficial to life, and not
  9. merely for their personal satisfaction.
  10.      The sign position gives an important clue to the way 
  11. the person will acquire and utilize wealth.  For instance, if
  12. the Sun is in Gemini in the Second House, the native is likely
  13. to earn money and spend it through intellectual pursuits; if
  14. the Sun is in Leo in the Second House, the native might earn
  15. money in a managerial capacity and spend it in pursuit of
  16. theater arts and romantic or social endeavors.  In any event 
  17. these natives will want to earn money since they have a 
  18. strong will to attain finacial independence.
  19.      If the Sun is afflicted in the Second House, the natives
  20. may believe they can achieve prestige merely throught wealth.
  21. They also tend to impose their will on others for purposes of
  22. material self-aggrandizement.  In addition, they may squander
  23. money on expensive luxuries for purposes of display and ego
  24. gratification.
